The folks here are wonderful. I was driving from WI to CA in a moving van with my elderly mom following in my car. We stopped for gas in Kearney and saw a tear in one of the car's front tires. It was a hot day in August and I had two vehicles, two people, a cat, and a timetable - I totally freaked out. I called AAA and they pointed me to Kearney Tire. When I called Kearney, I started off by explaining that I was really stressed out and they immediately switched to very calm, slow, kind customer service. Not in a patronizing way - it was genuine and exactly what I needed in my overwrought state. They were waiting for us when we got there and wasted no time assessing the situation. They didn't have a tire that would fit in stock so called around town to find one for me. They really went above and beyond. I figured we'd be there all day but he had it completely done in less than an hour. And he let me bring the cat into the waiting area, too. The price was absolutely reasonable and I was 100% satisfied. Finding this shop with its kind, attentive, honest, professional people turned what could have been an utterly miserable experience into just a blip in the plan. I'm super grateful and the car made it to CA with no problems with that tire or anything else.
