It's time to have your
vehicle's antifreeze tested!

Question:  The freeze protection for my antifreeze tests ok, so I don’t need to change it.  It’s permanent antifreeze anyway?  True or False?

Answer:  FALSE – Old antifreeze turns corrosive and begins to damage parts like radiators, heater cores, water pumps and engine gaskets.  When testing antifreeze, THREE different tests need to be done.

1. Freeze protection
2. PH test
3. Electrolysis

If it fails any of the three, flush out the cooling system to prevent damage and save money on future repairs.  Make sure you have the RIGHT formula of antifreeze installed in your car.  Damage can occur if you install the wrong kind.
